Yeti Basic spade It is a small, economical axe with a wooden shaft for small jobs where a large axe is just in the way. With a length of 75 cm and a handle measuring 31 × 34.5 cm, it is handy and easy to store. It will come in handy:

on the balcony, loggia and small terrace,
on the plot and by the summer house,
in a barn, a cage or a shed,
as a spare blade in a car.

In winter, it is used to remove snow, and throughout the rest of the year to cover the ground with earth, mulch, sawdust, or bark.

How is the Yeti Basic shovel constructed?

The material is resistant to frost and UV radiation and retains its properties at temperatures from -30°C to +45°C.

Yeti Basic, Yeti Alu or Yeti Telescopic – what are the differences?

All three have the same 31 × 34.5 cm drawer and a D-shaped handle. The Yeti Basic has a wooden handle and is the most economical, so it is best suited for use at home and on the plot. The Yeti Alu has a fixed aluminum handle that is resistant to moisture and can withstand the entire winter in the car. The Yeti Telescopic has a handle that can be adjusted within the range of 70–84 cm.

How to clear the balcony in a block of flats?

Do not throw the snow through the barrier, because it could fall on passersby, cars, or the balconies of your neighbors. Collect it in a bucket or bag and dispose of it in a drain in a bathtub or a pond, where it will easily melt away. Start at the balcony drainage area so that the water from the melting debris can flow freely.

Will the wooden rod withstand the entire winter in the trunk?

Yes, provided that the shovel is not lying in the wet snow. After use, wipe the drawer clean, and keep the shovel in a bag or box in the trunk to prevent the melting snow from soaking the handle or upholstery. If the shovel is to be used in the car throughout the season, a version with an aluminum handle will be more convenient.

Will the Yeti Basic shovel be useful in a barn or with animals?

Yes. The small drawer makes it easy to remove the used bedding and shavings from the coop, cages, or boxes where a large shovel cannot fit. The material does not absorb moisture or odors, so after work, it is enough to rinse the drawer with water.
