Is the Smart 55 Ergo Alu suitable for tall people?

Yes. With a length of 144 cm, it is one of the longest blades in the Ekogrid range; only the Agro Ergo is longer (149 cm). The contoured handle also raises the hands higher when picking up snow, so even tall people can work without having to bend deeply.

Smart 55 Ergo Alu or Smart 55 Basic?

The 55 cm wide box is the same in both models. The Smart 55 Basic has a simple wooden handle and a length of 127.5 cm, so it is chosen by those looking for a cheaper solution. The Smart 55 Ergo Alu is over 16 cm longer, lighter to handle, and much more comfortable for long snow removal of large areas.

How quickly can you clear a long sidewalk or driveway with a wide shovel?

Instead of picking up and throwing away every bit of snow, set the drawer at a slight angle and go forward, pushing the shovel in front of you. The snow will slide off in one direction like a plow. At a width of 55 cm, this way you can quickly clear even a few dozen-meter section, and you only have to pick up the snow that has accumulated at the end.

Scythe or snowblower – when is a scythe enough?
