The box with plastics from recycling it has a ribbed structure and metal reinforcement at the attachment point of the stem, and its edge protects it aluminum casing. The wooden stem, 127.5 cm long, is finished with an ergonomic handle.

The material is resistant to frost and UV radiation and retains its properties at temperatures from -30°C to +45°C.

Smart 50 Basic or Smart 48 Basic?

Both have a wooden handle and a D-shaped handle. The Smart 50 Basic has a wider drawer, so you can clear larger areas faster with it. The Smart 48 Basic is slightly lighter under full load and is better suited for wet snow and on narrower sidewalks.

Smart 50 Basic or Smart 50 Ergo Alu?

The case is the same in both models, but the base is different. The Smart 50 Basic has a classic, rigid wooden base. The Smart 50 Ergo Alu has a lighter, contoured aluminum base with a thermal shrink sleeve and is more comfortable for frequent, longer snow removal.

How to defrost a wide drawer so as not to get tired?

The wide drawer is best used for pushing snow, not for lifting it. Guide the shovel in front of you like a rake and move the snow to the side of the driveway. Only lift what you need to throw onto the plinth, and then fill the drawer halfway.

Will the Smart 50 Basic work with any type of snow?

With fresh, fluffy snow, a wide drawer is a big time saver. With wet and heavy snow, it’s worth taking smaller portions, because a full drawer of such snow can weigh several dozen kilograms. You can more easily break the frozen snow with an aluminum eyelet on the edges.
