Titanium 80 Orange or K1 Orange?
Both belong to the orange line and have a metal handle and casing. The Titanium 80 Orange has a wider (80 cm) compartment with dense ribs, so it cleans the large areas more quickly. The K1 Orange has a slightly narrower but deeper compartment (78.5 × 42 cm), which holds more snow before it slides down the prism.
How to organize snow removal of a large square by several people?
It works most effectively in a stair-step arrangement: people with shovels go side by side, each slightly behind the previous one, and push the snow diagonally in the same direction. The snow then passes from lane to lane until it reaches the edge of the square, where a single prism forms. The team clears the wide path in one pass, and no one has to return for the remnants.
When to start snow removal on a large object?
With heavy rainfall, don’t wait until it stops. A few passes during a rain when the layer is a few centimeters thick require less effort than removing the thick, compacted cover at the end. Parking lots and access to buildings are best cleared before opening hours, before the snow is covered by cars and pedestrians.
Can a snow blower be used to clear the courts and pitches?
On asphalt or concrete-paved fields and courts, the scraper will work very well. However, do not use it on artificial turf or polyurethane surfaces, as the metal casing may damage them. Such surfaces must be deiced using equipment recommended by the pavement manufacturer.
