The shovel is most efficient when fresh, light snow, which can be easily moved with a large drawer without lifting it.

How is the Smart 60 Basic comb built?

The box with plastics from recycling it has a ribbed structure, metal reinforcement at the attachment of the stem and aluminum edge casing, It collects snow from the road surface precisely. The wooden rod with a total length of 135 cm is finished with a D-shaped handle.

Is the 60 cm long shovel with a drawer too big to shovel snow with?

The full 60 × 40 cm drawer of wet snow is heavy, which is why the Smart 60 Basic is best used primarily for pushing snow, and only lifting what you need to throw onto the prism, and in smaller portions. If you need to transfer most of the snow, a narrower shovel, e.g. the Smart 50 Basic, will be more convenient.

Smart 60 Basic or Smart 55 Basic?

The Smart 60 Basic has a wider drawer and a longer handle (135 cm), so you can clean large, flat surfaces more quickly with it. The Smart 55 Basic is easier to handle and is better suited for clearing snow when you need to both pick it up and throw it away.

Smart 60 Basic or Roller 60?

Both shovels have a width of 60 cm and a wooden handle. The 60 Roller has a differently shaped handle, while the 60 Smart Basic stands out with an aluminum eyelet and a metal reinforcement on the handle.

Is the Smart 60 Basic available with an aluminum base?

No, the 60 cm drawer model is only available in a version with a wooden shaft. If you want a lighter, contoured aluminum shaft with a large drawer, choose the Smart 55 Ergo Alu. This is the widest comb with an aluminum shaft in the Smart series.

How to clear the driveway so that there is no thin layer of ice that freezes?

Drive the shovel so that the blade is flat against the surface, with the shank low and the snow pushed forward in one smooth motion. The thin layer left after inaccurate snow removal quickly turns into ice, especially when the nighttime temperature drops below zero. After snow removal, it is advisable to immediately sprinkle the surface with sand or salt.
